DMX began to rap in the end of 1990s. He debuted his debut album The album It's Hot in the year 1998 and Hell is Dark on the 19th of May, 1998. Other albums include... and then There was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... and then there was x, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ and Flesh of Blood Flesh. In 2001, his album was titled... And There was X received the Grammy nomination in the category Best Rap Album. Alongside his music projects, he also appeared in films like Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Never Let You Go Alone the Bleeding Romeo Must Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
